Hannah's inspiration largely derives from the tropics especially the African landscape. The artist takes inspiration from both the natural and the architectural. Hannah is also influenced by the craftwork originating from this continent, particularly the textiles. Hannah creates 'dream worlds' within her designs. There are exaggerated versions of natural elements in her artwork, particularly from the plants and flowers within our landscape. Pattern is a constant reference point for the artist.
