Hannah Watts is a multi-disciplinary ceramic artist based in London. She studied fine art at Edinburgh College of Art and The Florence Academy of Art, plus graphic design at Shillington College. Hannah uses a combination of these different mediums within her work.
Hannah's inspiration largely derives from the tropics; namely the African landscape, both natural and architectural. The artist's practice is also inspired by the craft originating from this continent, particularly the textiles. Hannah likes to make up 'dreamworlds' within her designs, creating exaggerated versions of natural elements and using pattern as a constant reference point.
'With the Swallows' also features artwork by Julian Brown and Karen Radford.
